PSA for iOS devs:

A lot of files your app makes don't need to be backed up to iCloud. Make sure you set this flag, you can save your users a lot of space

RE: @harshil@mastodon.social

As I hit 5K, I saw the sunlight weaving through this tree, and this might’ve been the zone 5 speaking, but it really made me Feel Things

Japanese people were onto something with 木漏れ日

I feel like I’ve reached a breaking point

Across Bluesky, Mastodon, Threads, X, Reddit, RSS, podcasts, all the Slacks and all the Discords etc. I just cannot keep up anymore

All those years ago I thought For All Mankind would be this sci-fi prestige alt-history drama but instead it’s become the world’s highest budget soap opera that happens to be in space and I love it

Every clothing website should have a slutiness slider. I do not fuck with 7.5 inch inseam shorts, get that shit out of my face

All the people who say “don’t take concert videos bc you’re never gonna watch them” are fucking idiots

I’ve rewatched John Mayer play Edge of Desire like 46, maybe even 47 times

Went to buy new Indian clothes and my size is now really tight only at the shoulders and the unc at the store was like “This is the problem with all these bodybuilders nowadays”

Please help me guys, how do I stop thinking about her??? (masala dosa)

Things happen so much sometimes

At some point Zuck is going to get bored and shut down Threads and a horde of the most Facebook-brained mfs alive with a tiny taste for posting are going to be unleashed on every website on earth

We are not prepared for this

Chilled weekend to all of you

Duolingo trying to get a piece of that Timmy Tim smoke

Chilled weekend to all of you

You’re 5 words into French 101 and BAM all of a sudden you realise the hit 2010s song Papaoutai was actually pretty dark

Chilled weekend to all of you

@rmondello@hachyderm.io I just thought you might appreciate this

Peak 5.2 is off to the App Store! I’m so excited to see people get their hands on this one!

If anyone from the press wants to give it a spin early, DM me!

RE: @harshil@mastodon.social

Me when my mother's watching any Indian soap: How do these three different generations have dudes of the same age? How is this woman a great great grandma at 40?? This is stupid

Also me: Hell yeah 200 year old Ed Baldwin you fly that space plane or whatever

Hello, SF Rounded Wide

(Why’s it pixelated tho?)

If you’re a guy who lifts, get yourself a bunch of Under Armour compression shirts

Go into debt if you have to

At one point I had to choose between studying CS and ID and while I’m pretty happy with the choice I made, I do sometimes wonder about what that other road would’ve looked like

Chilled weekend to all of you

Never thought I’d become one of those guys whose main scroll is Inst*gr*m, and yet, here we are

Question for the runners out there: What do you do with your phone? The arm straps look _fine_ but kinda meh, and belts look nice but also too bulky for just the phone

Is there anything better out there that I'm missing?

British people do be called Hero Fiennes Tiffin

Is there some way to recreate the iOS Photos app behaviour where the navigation title always remains inlineLarge even as you scroll?

DTF St Louis having such a stacked cast with such a strange plot made no sense to me

Then I saw the creator is the Patriot guy and it all fits now

Am I missing something, or does SwiftUI have no way to detect whether a view needs a dismiss button?

i.e. just tell me if there is a system back button shown

I dunno about the AI use case here, but just a camera that you don’t need to go digging for and that connects to your watch would be pretty sweet

Sure would be nice to them in a glasses form factor though… https://www.macrumors.com/2026/04/03/breakthrough-new-iphone-accessory/

@tvforecastapp@mastodon.social Not sure if it’s an app issue or a data provider issue, but the latest seasons of Abbott Elementary, For All Mankind, and Jet Lag are all not showing in the Your Progress section for me. I have unwatched episodes of all of them and they’re still showing up in the Up To Date section down below
