@Gazimoff@gamepad.club We did similar, but it was every 2 years or so for a long time. Then it was when they either went pillow-shaped, or were uneconomical to repair.
The exception was when we wanted to de-Google and got Fairphones.

After a trip to the farm shop and two garden centres, I mowed the lawn while @josey@gamepad.club planted some cactus and succulent seeds in the greenhouse.

@Gazimoff@gamepad.club I did that a year ago, and I don't miss it. The fomo soon faded.

While I've not got to burning out, I could feel I was overdue a break from work. I've burned out before and I know the signs well.
The last week I've felt... fizzy? It's the only way I can describe it.
Anyway, I've got this week off, and another after Easter.

@Gazimoff@gamepad.club Come to the dark side. It's lovely here.
I'm running CachyOS and while it has the odd bit of weirdness, it's been smooth sailing.

@andyeff@hachyderm.io "In the end, he said, “we went quite close to some real Bronze Age remains, but we avoided Dobby’s grave”."
So the super-vocal minority manage to get what they want. Weird how that happens.
