@r_alb@mastodon.social My favorite responses to that are:

  1. Do you have blinds or curtains on your windows? Can I come remove all of them along with all the doors in your house?

  2. This is like saying you shouldn't have freedom of speech because you have nothing to say.

You should be questioning the people trying to take rights away, not the people trying to hold onto them and protect yours.

@shauna@social.coop "For most of human history, you bought a thing, and it was yours, and it was FINISHED. That word is nearly extinct. Nothing you own is finished. Everything exists in a state of permanent incompletion, permanently needing. Your phone needs updates, needs charging, needs storage cleared, needs passwords rotated. Your apps need permissions reviewed, terms accepted, preferences re-configured after every update..." https://www.terrygodier.com/the-last-quiet-thing/ascii

@GossiTheDog This made me laugh so hard. I needed a good laugh this morning, so thank you. This is such an insane and embarrassing showing that a normal person would have melted into a puddle, but this guy is apparently made entirely of arrogance and dumb dumb.

@GossiTheDog@cyberplace.social They're using my money to drop bombs on people I've never met for reasons they can't seem to articulate. It's all just great.

@GossiTheDog@cyberplace.social Are they seeing anything that indicates an uptick of allied (such as Russian) groups going after Israel and the US or their allies?

@GossiTheDog@cyberplace.social At no point in this video do they mention anyone asking for this. We didn't. I love that they're leaning hard on the fact that the data is protected from other users. That... doesn't matter. You're running automated enumeration for anyone that gets access under my user context. Don't do that. Jesus.

@briankrebs@infosec.exchange Sigh. Of course he's the type to say "Incorporate it into your workflows immediately" rather than "evaluate with your teams and determine whether your workflows can be improved using this service".

@hacks4pancakes@infosec.exchange I still don't understand the aversion to it. If everyone in the country is pooling together money for essential services, why wouldn't healthcare be at the top of that list?

@danirabbit@mastodon.online When did punk rock become so safe? When did the scene become a joke? The kids who used to play guitars and scream now send clankers keystrokes.
