Going through a box of bits, came across my old BBC Radio 4 Test Match Special radio, Long Wave only. Radio still works, but will not pick up any more cricket.
When the cricket was on Long Wave, you could watch the cricket live, whilst listening to the commentary, can't do that anymore with either DAB, or internet radio.
Just been moved from an Amber Extreme Heat Warning, to a RED Extreme Heat Warning ⚠️
For Wednesday and Thursday.
Stay safe people.
Went into a different shop, this evening, and bought some alcohol. The person behind the counter asked me to prove I was old enough. So I showed them my old git bus pass.
I can understand they have to know the person buying alcohol is old enough, but I'm in my 60s, and I know I look young for my age, but no way do I look younger than someone in their 50s or 40s.
I used to buy alcohol, cigarettes, matches, and so on when I was 12, and was going into pubs from 14.
Bloody hate the stupidity of the world.
Wigan Warriors 16 - Huddersfield Giants 34
I am more gobsmacked than I was last night.

I'm thinking it would be a good time to hold a referendum on rejoining the EU, if they would have us back.
Leeds Rhinos Vs Warrington Wolves was enjoyable. Now every team in the Super League has had a loss.
It is so much easier to enjoy Super League games, when the team you follow isn't in the Super League 😂
County Cricket 🏏 starts tomorrow, with NO Kookaburra ball 😄

The London Broncos keep offering me deals on tickets, and season ticket.
They would have to ban the person with the drum 🥁, for me to think about a season ticket.
Being I'm a miserable old git, I think drums shouldn't be allowed, unless the person banging it, can prove they can be musical.
London Broncos 40 Vs Batley Bulldogs 12
Win 7 from 7 in the Championship.
My gob is well and truly smacked, at half time between Hull KR and St Helens, with Hull KR at 30 to St Helens 0, at half time.

After a wobbly start, I think Surrey ended up having quite a good day, at the start of the County Cricket.
I'm pleased I'm not playing cricket at Lords this evening. It is TOO HOT for me.
Got to stop looking at weather forecast for the week, it gets worse every time 😭
When you wake up in the morning, there will be no more BBC Radio 4 Longwave, it closes at 1am 😭
Something I missed a couple of days ago, a second Warrington Wolves player, Joe Philbin, is going to join the London Broncos at the end of the year.
Toby King is the other Warrington Wolves player, that had signed up earlier this month.
If I was unfortunate enough to become Prime Minister, one of the first things I would do is take ownership of the shoreline (for the country), from the royals. It would an extra few million pounds to put towards the debt of the country.
I really wouldn't like to be the prime minister.
If at first you don't succeed, redefine your goals, until you succeed 😀
YouTube is saying to keep access to my channel, I need a parent to set up supervision!
Being I'm in my 60s, and not a parent myself, it looks as if it might be the help I need to cut down on what I watch on YouTube.
The Goons still make me laugh out loud 🤣
Thank you BBC Home Service, Micheal Bentine, Harry Secombe, Peter Sellers, and Spike Milligan.
London's bridges are falling down, falling down, my fair lady.
I've been looking to buy a bass amp, that is made in the UK, and the smallest I can find is a 100 watt amp.
I mean MADE, NOT designed and engineered in the UK.
It isn't the cost, it is just I only play indoors, along to music, and I live in a little flat.
Now if I had a time machine, I could go back to the 1960s or 1970s and buy one. So any one know where I can get a time machine?

The UK government has released a Green Paper on switching off Digital Terrestrial Television, by either 2034 or 2044. This will have an impact on Terrestrial Radio.
The consultation ends on the 31st August.

I'm going to say the winners of today's Rugby League are going to be;
Hull KR
Wigan Warriors
Leeds Rhinos
Girl bands have changed so much from when I was young...
