AI is good, actually.
Hey @quad9dns@mastodon.social - big fan of your service. It looks like your DNSSEC is mis-configured though. Oversight? Without DS records for your TLD, dns.quad9.net is essentially untrusted.
This is completely unhinged.
On the one hand, the idea of an installer that can dynamically respond to installation issues is pretty cool.
On the other hand, having a non-deterministic method for installing your software is kinda insane.
18 years later and the Dropbox client rpm still has multiple dependencies that are not actually enumerated by the rpm. I'm guessing the deb package is no different.
You still need to manually install python3-gpg and libayatana/libappindicator.
At least make them optional deps? And really python3-gpg should be a required dep as without it the app installs their daemon without verifying it.
Come on guys.
So I love @realtryhackme@bird.makeup but there is something worth knowing about before you start.
Yes they have a ton of free material, a lot more than most training/course type sites normally offer.
That said, as far as I can tell alll of that free material is targeted at absolute technology beginners. Nothing wrong with that, just know that if you're already a nerd, you're going to have to pay just to see if you like the service.
Otherwise no complaints, awesome courses.
@AAKL@infosec.exchange oh for sure, Huwaei network gear contains line-for-line Cisco code in some cases.
Anybody else in the pnw seeing dl.flathub.org errors?
how much poop do y'all think is in michael saylor's pants right nowM
hashcat + cuda is faster on Kali in WSL than it is natively on windows 😭
TIL Windows local account passwords still use NTLM (md4) unsalted hashes 💀
Credential Guard does make this less terrible but still.
I hate how this is being discussed. This is in *no way* a bitlocker bypass. It only works on systems that auto decrypt via tpm at boot. If you have a bitlocker pin it won't work.
This is a windows credential/login screen/etc bypass that lets you access the files on disk without a credential ONCE THE DISK HAS ALREADY BEEN UNLOCKED BY TPM.
If you pull the disk and try this on another PC it won't work. You're not bypassing anything encryption-related.
BitLocker is still working as intended.
They would have called it Jupiter deployment though.
policykit is fucking javascript/spidermonkey. absolutely deranged.
