I asked DALL-E to create stickers to illustrate collaboration in the #Wikimedia movement. They are quite impressive but what's curious is the laptops almost always wind up with an Apple logo on them. Is this just an artifact that a lot of the training data in DALL-E are the ubiquitous Mac laptops? #Wikipedia

@funcrunch@me.dm @reneestephen@mastodon.social Never have I ever felt so guilty while improving a #Wikipedia article. At least I wasn't the person who purged {{cetacean needed}} from [[List of cetaceans]]. (It was added back after consensus was established proving we can have a little bit of fun.)
Oh, Google. Did you stay out too late last night? #Wikidata #Wikimedia #Wikipedia
Why isn't Jimmy Buffett listed on the front page of #Wikipedia in "Recent deaths" while much less famous folks are? The answer may surprise you. The Wikipedia front page policy prioritizes quality, not "public interest," which has odd repercussions. TL;DR – perfect is the enemy of good. #Wikimedia #WikipediaITN

@Sheril@mastodon.social Well stated. This is the social media "colon cleanse" that has been needed for a while. #twitter #mastodon #twittermigration
Not your typical @wikipedia@wikis.world hatnote. But for George Santos, something special. #Wikipedia #Wikimedia @depthsofwiki@beta.birdsite.live
@aram@aoir.social I don't see it in the deleted history either. I'll keep sleuthing.
@aram@aoir.social Ouch, you should certainly have a Wikipedia article. I don't see any deleted versions for your name. Perhaps they started it with another title?
