Most of the main cast are undead in the sense that they’re immortals AKA vampires and werewolves. The mortals AKA humans, however, will do it whenever it’s necessary. There’s a barber-surgeon (who's also a dentist and a farm animal veterinarian) in town. Let’s also not forget the fact that it’s the tail end of the Victorian era, as far as medical science is concerned.
