But it is still a Chromium-base project. I do have *big* concerns about the direction taken by Mozilla. But still, after all, I would prefer a fork of Firefox. I would prefer to use a DRM free browser. I would love to love Ladybird, I would love a more healthy browser ecosystem: but the sad true is that that is not the case. And for me technofascism will never be part of a solution.

Y veo que te han agobiado ciertas cosas :) No es mi intención, echarle más leña al fuego. Pero, ¿en serio, Telegram? 😅 El dueño es un cryptobro que terminó haciendo tratos con (f)elon para integrar su pedo-AI ahí mismo... pues una pasada. Compartir info, conversar sobre sysadmin y cosas así... yo desinstalé el Telegram en diciembre, como parte de la limpieza pre-2026 Me dolió, porque tenía un par de grupos interesantes. Y ahora tu... obvio que me interesaría formar parte de un grupo así, con las características de tu grupo, en español. De repente me armo este finde un VM con Mattermost y lo probamos 😬

For me (with emphasis on that last part: "me") Firefox is the only viable. Or even some radicaler unbloated Firefox versions (as @librewolf@chaos.social) As frontend dev, of course I do test my work on safari, chrome and firefox. And that is it: testing. Brave and Ladybird are (again: for me) dead projects. The first is lead by a homophobic conservative intolerant cryptobro and the other by a fascist.

@rolle@mementomori.social yeah... sadly there are a lot of questionable backgrounds around tech. I try to do it, anyway (choosing tech based on some ethical values) But it's hard. :) Incomplete. A constant work in progress...
