#introduction Hello, I'm a (currently unemployed #getfedihired?) software engineer. I suppose most of my interests are the typical nerdy stuff, such has #3dprinting (I've finally finished building a Voron 3d printer!), #electronics and #microcontroller programming, #fpv drones, #selfhosting, #privacy, #scifi and, of course, #computerscience/#softwareengineering. My professional experience is mostly full-stack web/mobile dev, DevOps, and applied AI/ML. I recently discovered the #indieweb, which seemed really cool to me, so I created an artisanal, hand-crafted personal site: https://e4dt4n.com It ain't much, but it's honest work.

@brett@bitflipp.social Sounds like punishing the victims of predatory institutions. A lot of HS graduates, especially first-generation students, have no idea there's a difference between for-profit and public institutions, and have nobody around them to inform them.
