For #fungusfriday, you should meet the Orange Mycena mushroom! The orange pigment has antibacterial properties and it is native to eastern and central North America. Mushrooms need lots of water but these little guys can dig deep into the deciduous logs they live in, so you might see them even in drier weather when no other mushroom is around. non poisonous and hearty little things! 😍🧡🍄

Local friends! I'm teaching an "Intro to Nature Photography" class with the Anderson Park District in April and May. You should join me! It will be fun, I promise! https://andersonparks.com/event/nature-photography/

I bought this little 🍋 tree which I promptly brought to the brink of death 😬 but just when I thought all was lost, a little blossom and some new leaves! Whew! 🙏🏻😅

The tiny Fragile Forktail Damselfly is about 3/4” long and is native to eastern North America. He seemed very curious about the gigantic camera looming above him 😅📷👋

Hi friends! I need a calendar recommendation! CHAOSS has a central calendar with all our events but not everyone wants to subscribe to the entire calendar. I have searched high and low for a calendar app that lets us not only create recurring events, but that will allow people to subscribe to *only* that event.

We don't want to manage invites, and copying to personal calendars is what we do now. It's not ideal.
Unrelated: Here's my latest nature photo of a little bee enjoying some snowdrops 😘 🐝

Just a little morning sprucin’ up because you never know who you might meet! #letsbeefriends #morningvibes #nature 🐝🚿🥰
