@neil@mastodon.neilzone.co.uk let's unpack that just a bit. First, are most age verification schemes circumvented *trivially* by, say, those underage (I'm asking)? Second, if it's somewhat more than trivial and less than perfect, maybe Good Enough is okay for most policy makers.
Today's #MusicMonday selection is Neil Diamond, whose grandmother traveled almost the same route at almost the same time as my great grandmother Bertha, who came to America alone at the age of 14 with not much more than the clothes on her back. I thank God every day that she did.

I would argue that what we had at the time was a frenzied mob, particularly in Vancouver.
@jpmens@mastodon.social I'll just point out that this record was driven by registries so that there could be transparency in the domain resale market. That could reduce the middle man spread.
