RemSound 6.0 is out. What's new: • A DAW plugin: send a track to your peers, or bring peers onto their own tracks to record and mix. • Press F1 on any control for help on just that control. • Accept connections automatically, or be asked, when someone with your password connects. • Servers for more than two: everyone on your password meets in one place, each with their own volume, EQ and recording track. If you already have Remsound installed, update from Help, Check for updates, or download it here: https://github.com/Ednunp/RemSound/releases/latest

RemSound v5.6 is out, the low latency tool that sends audio between PC's. now with IPhone and Android support. IN this latest update, a focus on stronger security. Updates are now digitally signed, so a fake one can't be installed. The remote volume and mute controls are locked to your password, so only people who share it can use them. And profile passwords are now held to a higher standard meaning if you have a weak password, you'll be asked to change it. Two extras: you can choose what time of day updates install so they don't interrupt you, and the background service can unmute a machine and set its volume when it starts which is particularly useful as a blind user if your audio gets muted. Free and open source: https://github.com/Ednunp/RemSound/releases/tag/v5.6

RemSound v5.3 is here. RemSound streams live audio between PCs with almost no delay — built for remote jamming, monitoring and collaboration. Some of our new features: • Per-person volume, pan and EQ — shape each connected person independently in your mix for live jamming for example. • Send a single application's sound instead of your whole audio device, keeping the rest of your PC private. • A new lock-screen service: hear a machine that's switched on but not yet signed in. The service is clever enough to get out of the way when the RemSound app is activated, and then come back in when you're done. Free download: https://github.com/Ednunp/RemSound/releases/tag/v5.3

Hi all, just wanted to share a demo of the audio game I'm building with Chat GPT, SpaceBlaster. I'm far from done, more features, enemies and weapons to come. If you're interested in testing this, let me know. Comments welcome.

@joncors Only useful though if the lunatic in charge actually responds in the right way to it. Agreed though, it has shown oil for what it really is, i.e. a finite resource.

@BorrisInABox that was the one with many many many tiny keys and the game where you had to essentially press letters to stop the word bombs from falling right? fun little thing.

@TheBreadmonkey@beige.party Ah, I really did not appreciate the horrendously loud government alert that screamed through mhy iPhone recently telling us to be careful not to start a fire because it's hot and guess what/ things might burn. I really did not apreciate the fact I could not turn it off, that it wasn't very urgent and most of all that it went off just as I lay my 9 month old down to sleep.

Guys and gals, how do I stop NVDA from reading out an entire email when it comes in from Outlook? it is very very very annoying. Same with Teams messages. if someone posts an announcement it just goes jabber jabber jabber. I've turned off read notifications but clearly I'm missing a setting here.

Hot on the heels of 5.6, RemSound 5.7 is out. Stronger passwords have been backed out at the request of many of you and I'm pleased to say this has fixed issues between the RemSound PC client and the other ports that those in the community have worked hard to make. many apologies, but here is the link to the new version or if you don't want to download it directly, your app should update eitehr automatically or on request, depending upon how you set it: https://github.com/Ednunp/RemSound/releases/tag/v5.7
