Went out and took some pictures of the frogs in the lily pond. These are Rio Grande Leopard Frogs (or at least the folks at iNaturalist seem to think so).

Today has been an amazing study in how my glucose level spikes up in reaction to emotional stress. Stress me enough, and ozempic be damned, my glucose will spike out of range.

@cstross@wandering.shop the immense sums involved in that tech bubble seem to be destroying the utility of a lot of the measures normally used to judge the health of the economy. When it bursts and is no longer papering over weakness in everything else the sudden change in those measures is going to be shocking.

@colinpurrington I don’t have a good species ID, but that does look like it might be the one. I suppose the wild dewberries might count as cane berries - reaching into them to remove hackberry saplings is a great use for the sleeves.

He also seems to be using pigments without advertising it, so if you let your bottle sit without moving for months your Heart of Darkness will come out grey even after thorough shaking (actual stirring is required). Then there’s the fact he’s a racist troll, so no more Noodler’s for me.

@jwilker@wandering.shop I've got a Synology setup that works nicely. RT2600ac router, and MR2200ac mesh units. From time to time (ever few months) one of the MR2200acs will start pegging its CPU and I'll remotely reboot all of them via the app.
I don't know if this is actually the best setup, but it's working well for me.
