Art is a weapon when pointed at power. We need more provocative art projects that mock and punch up at the forces of power. Parody and exposure is what they fear.
I’m going through hell right now, trying to support someone who doesn’t understand they need love and support. I’m not the best at this emotional stuff, but I know pain when I see it. This much I can relate to, but I’m reaching through the dark and hoping beyond hope tonight. I just wish people could know how much they are loved and valued.
Capitalism can’t function without poverty. It requires an underclass, and in order to paper over this it has an entire propaganda operation to explain how every indignity must be recast as personal responsibility, rather than state violence.

Ya ever wonder why there is a concept around entry level jobs but not entry level bills?
I am so unadulteratedly frustrated and depressed by our culture, in ways that I can’t elaborate on because I will be labeled as an enemy of the state. I wish the state had some mechanism to hear and tolerate uncomfortable speech, perhaps some kind of constitutional phrasing. Oh well, one can only hope.
I’m simultaneously hating myself and improving myself. I can’t explain this.
I want to talk to the sociopath who built the UI for Apple TV. The single hardest thing to do is to resume watching the last thing you were into. It boggles my mind how they could screw this up so royally.

If I describe socialism, without saying the name most people will find the ideas around shared responsibility and a scientific results-based policy to make sense.
But only if I don’t say it is socialism. This is propaganda in action.
In this country it takes 5+ years of study and debate to get a pitiful few miles of rail lines, but a data center can nearly spring from the ground in record time with scarcely any public debate or input.

Ya ever notice how we don’t talk about “spyware” that much anymore? I think it is because it is hard to list any application in use that isn’t spyware. It started as a warning but we lost the fight.

Well, not entirely fine but REM captured the feeling. What point is there to me not feeling “fine” or any other response? Most reactions will place me on a watch list, so I sit here and feel “fine” as the world burns down around us. I hug my kids a little bit longer and tell them I love them with a bit more zeal, but not so much as to make them worry.
We all feel “fine” while the madness ensues.

I’m confused. I heard two weeks ago that we won the war with Iran but I also hear that we are going to deploy troops on the ground for the war we have won.
Sometimes I wonder how I navigate complicated professional social interactions with expertise, but am a total failure with personal social interactions. It makes no sense and I’m so weary of playing the game where no one will tell you the rules.

This is going to be the question you hear in the coming years. The presumption is that AI contributed to your human-delivered analysis, but before it is accepted we will want to understand the basal prompt. Did you ask a good question?
If you want to be good with AI, start with asking better questions and explaining context in really useful ways.
