So I'm going to migrate my account to a new server for the first time and I feel weirdly nervous about it.

I saw Pillion tonight. Wow. I really liked it and the end stuck with me. I can't talk about why without getting into spoiler territory but this film stuck with me and I can't express it in a toot. I'm off this week so maybe I'll find time to write a blog post about what I feel. I also need to let my feelings and thoughts marinate.

It's like it understood something and then just noped out of existence!
And then they came over with blankets like it were dead or was a sleepy boy who needed a nap.
It's not sleepy, assholes! It just doesn't want any part of this whole mess!
I think if I had been less drunk I would have just started speaking in Esperanto. I remember him saying something vaguely about him trying to be open-minded or something. (The irony!) I told him that I was uninterested in being exoticized.
I probably should have just been like I'm gonna do Esperanto because like if we're not going to speak the language of the land when we're both fully capable of doing it and just do what we want, it's Esperanto for me bitch, buckle up.
I'm back at work not even 30 minutes and I'm already having a mild anxiety attack. So.... I've decided to soy here and do nothing till I fell better. How about that.
Edit: March, not May. I don't understand time
I'M OFF WORK TILL MARCH 23RD!!!!! WOO HOO
I've been absent because I've been spending a lot of time with a friend who has had a death in his family. I feel stretched thin, tired. My job as a friend is to help my good friend carry his burden, to be a witness to his grieving in a way that his family should have been. I'm tired. I'm sad. But his sadness is not mine. I carry it because we must be there for each other. Because I love him. It leaves me quickly because it is not mine. But I think of him, I worry for him. I treasure my friend
I'm trying to set up voice control for Home Assistant.... in Esperanto! There's only, as far as I know, one local option for an Esperanto STT model able to run on a Raspberry Pi: vosk. And let me tell you, the set up (especially with dockerized home assistant) is, uh, a labor of love, let's say.
Mi sukcesos !

Life got away from me and I haven't been on mastodon much but thank you everyone for taking the time to give me suggestions!
So since I'm off work, I tried going to the gym later in the day. Around 10:30 this time. Not a lot of people, which is nice, but here's the thing... This handsome guy with the tattoos of a Satanist and the voice of a sweetheart asked me some exercise advice and so now I'm going to have to go back and try to strike up a conversation with him to see if it was purely curiosity or if there was some mutual attraction there. 😅
