I'm the one with all the (real) plants in his video background.
I've been using #digiKam on Linux with my new Sony, and .. it's not great. Lots of crashes, none of the export options (inat, google photos) work, it can't import from my camera (but can treat it as a USB drive), etc.
I see lots of contributors' names on this, so surely I'm doing something wrong. Is there a way to make this app work better? Other than installing WINE?
Remember when TVs needed to "warm up" before they would tune right? Then there was that glorious period when the TV turned on and started showing the programming. Now it's a good 2-3 minutes of waiting for it to boot, clicking through ads, maybe an update. Half the time I'm done with the snack I thought I'd eat while watching something and I just turn it back off
