In honor of the 250 years of USA, I launched a new one-page website called "Who owns America's wealth" which contains several graphs to visualize the ridiculous wealth inequality in our country.

The current situation in California is like the fable of the Judgement of Solomon, where the king suggested cutting a baby in half to solve the two women claiming to be the baby's mother. We have all of these Democratic candidates would would rather see the state ruled by a Republican rather than letting somebody else be its Governor. They really need to get together and figure something out.
Turns out the plug that attaches to a MacBook power brick is called a "duck head", at least in the Netherlands. I had just bought one at Apple Amsterdam (the "iHostage" movie location😬) and went on a walk in nearby Vondelpark … when these little guys recognized a kindred spirit…
Illinois — HUGELY important primary election this Tuesday. The AIPAC/Crypto/AI lobby is throwing megabucks trying to get THEIR candidates in office. Fight back! https://progressivecongress.net/top.html
THANK YOU President Donald McDonald’s — a.k.a. The Notorious P.I.G., Cheeto Benito — for your lawsuit against Southern Poverty Law Center. It reminded me to make a lovely donation to this heroic organization.
My ideal California governor lawn sign would be:

@justkwin@toot.community @avirr@sfba.social Thanks Quinn! I think this is probably the root, now that I look at it.

@kern Still, there's CommunityKit, at the same place, which seems to be roughly the same minus the conference talks.
Hey @Cdespinosa@mastodon.social
I found another person with your name, and he's running for Congress!
I see a lot of "… for Congress" websites as I maintain ProgressiveCongress.net … I just had to share; this is such a fun website: https://friendsofdamonlynch.com
Yesterday's election results from Illinois truly sucked. I am really discouraged. The Israel/Crypto/AI big-money powers are spending millions to knock down the progressive candidates who would keep them in check, and it's WORKING. Somehow, across the country, voters need to wake up and not let these shitty "bought and paid for" Democrats get elected.
Big kudos and thanks to Kat Abughazaleh, Robert Peters, Junaid Ahmed, Dylan Blaha, and others who fought the good fight! Maybe try again?
@schwa@mastodon.social You would definitely have not appreciated dark at 4 PM like it was when I was in Finland a couple of weeks ago…
Updated https://ProgressiveCongress.net to now include ratings for House of Representatives incumbents, coming from https://yourreprecord.org !!!!
Can any #Swift #iOS or #macOS developers point me to some good guides for getting access to "Certificates, Identifiers, & Profiles" when you are an AppStoreConnect team member on a project owned by somebody else who has put you on their team? I'm about ready to switch to Commodore PET development, this is SOOO frustrating!!!!
I'm glad that the Eric Swalwell sexual assault story has finally gone mainstream.
Swalwell has taken down his endorsements page but you can find this morning's snapshot: https://web.archive.org/web/20260410155541/https://www.ericswalwell.com/endorsements
Note that Sen. Schiff and SEIU have pulled their endorsements. However lots of endorsements from powerful groups are listed on this page!
If your representatives are on this list, contact them, ask them to rescind their endorsements!
Learned about Tools for Humanity yesterday. I agree that it will be important to be able to determine that somebody is a true human being, not an AI — apparently there is no workable Turing Test — but the idea of giving my biometrics to a (Sam-Altman-founded!) private company is dystopian to me. Can you spell "Data Breaches"? There has to be a better way.

@Cdespinosa@mastodon.social Yeah he seems pretty solid. I don't know much about that race; I haven't seen anybody emerge as the dominant player in that district on ProgressiveCongress.net … You should send him a little donation just to freak out his team! 🙂

@incanus@mastodon.social Beautiful view, but I wonder if The Gorge gets the world record for "farthest distance from the cheap seats to the stage" !!!!!
