@ChrisJagged@mastodon.social I dislike this phrase, too. The ruling class does everything it can to sanitize history to make themselves look good. I would give an example for the US, but the list is so long I can't choose important ones to narrow down. I mean, there are a dozen attempts to wipe historical references in US history books by the current administration and that's just in the last year.

@codemonkeymike@fosstodon.org Oh that's a funky one. PostmarketOS is what I'm running on my arm64 Chromebook and it works fantastic. I had to manually change some of the keyboard layout, but otherwise good. I'm interested to hear later how it went with this one on a armv7 32-bit CPU.

@mforester I do! I run GoToSocial with Docker in a Debian VM on a Ubuntu hypervisor right here at the house on a residential ISP 😁. No real changes to the container, I even use SQLite that comes bundled instead of another database. I also have a reverse proxy to give it a legit SSL cert. When I created it I was concerned about resource allocation after reading the requirements for a full Mastodon deployment. So, I gave the VM 4 CPU cores, 4 GB of RAM, and 120 GB of storage. It is way overkill. I could easily run it with a single core, 2 GB of RAM, and just 40GB of storage. Its run flawlessly for over a year. I have to do almost zero maintenance other than a few updates a year. Its not feature parity with Mastodon, but its enough for me.
