@benroyce fast charging is improving every year, but even on “slow speed” (50-150kW), you’re charging faster than you can use the loo and drink a coffee. And it’s good to take some rest on long journeys! (There is a limit on what truck drivers may drive with a reason!) Besides, on longer trips you try to only charge what’s needed, no use in arriving with more than a few percent in your battery 😇 @mihamarkic @rubbel @joacim @randahl

@PensioNien dat is bij de meeste organisaties zo. Stuur je een melding, vraag of suggestie dan verdwijnt die ergens in de mist, maar schrijf je ergens het woord “klacht” bij dan moet er over gerapporteerd worden (met zekerheid weet ik dit van de gemeente Meppel).

@gustav lovely car, and being a Volvo, probably quite safe even to modern standards. Not sure if I can say the same for my #eT2 🤭 It’s a pity that apart from France, there are little to no incentives to convert ICE cars to EV. Even small things like low VAT on work done (like we had for installing solar panels) would be helpful, as the price of a conversion is largely driven by the work. Think of all the small cars driving max 100km being converted…

@benroyce not really new, look it up on wiki (1896!). The thing is: battery life is an issue for many car owners. With swapping you might get a less healthy battery in return, or perhaps you don’t own it. So it makes you dependent on a company (whereas EV driving makes you less dependent overall, as you can charge at home) @mihamarkic @rubbel @joacim @randahl

@doronhirsch toen wij ons huis uit 1936 kochten was er op zolder een kamertje aanwezig die de “bode kamer” werd genoemd. Op een verder kale zolder een kamer met wastafel. Vermoedelijk ook voor een inwonende hulp.

@pietkuip met haar mooie nieuwe Renault Clio van december 2024, nieuw gekocht. Je kon toen voor hetzelfde geld een gebruikte Zoë kopen van ongeveer een jaar oud. Net zo groot, maar elektrisch. Voldoende bereik voor “wel 200km per week” (veel meer). En met thuisladen heel veel goedkoper dan dat fossiele geval wat ze nu rijdt. (Handig, kentekens kunnen nazoeken) @MennoOng

@SandraDeHaan het wordt dus nog eerder economisch rendabel om die gasaansluiting te laten verwijderen. Dat scheelt al snel 300€ per jaar aan ALLEEN vastrecht. Nog los van de prijs van gas. Laat die warmtepompen maar komen. (En ja, begin bij de mensen die dat het hardst nodig hebben, dus huurwoningen.)
