it's finally happened. i've been using #RustLang for ~11yrs now, and i have finally encountered a non-contrived situation where i need the `for<'a>` syntax.
For a while now, I've been working on giving myself permission to be less productive than I think i should be. This essay is fuel.

I haven't found a good guide yet... I figured out that I needed it from good old stack overflow. The guides I've tried to read in the past have been too type- theoretical for my heavily-practition-leaning brain
