I had to say goodbye to my eldest dog O'Malley, after spending nearly every day of the past 12 years together. I miss him, and it hurts.
In his memory, I would appreciate donations to https://littlebearsanctuary.org to help rescued farm animals - if you are able.
Next race tonight, and I don't know if I'm up for it. Will do my best.

Race 2 in The Chase tonight at WWT Raceway. Only 3 points behind the championship lead - so I'm in full attack mode now, going for max points and the W.

I created my YouTube channel as a dedicated home for my sim-racing content, specifically my POV footage from our Wednesday night league races. It complements the official league's Twitch broadcast by giving viewers a driver’s-eye perspective and a deeper look into the racecraft, strategy, and moments that don’t always make the main stream.
I’m also building the channel as a way to attract potential sponsors for both myself and the team, as well as another outlet to promote our team goals and supported causes. Indie social platforms like Mastodon haven’t been taken seriously by companies looking for established reach, and YouTube is the lesser evil option that I feel the most comfortable with using. Growing a presence there gives me a better chance of showing sponsors real engagement and a clear value proposition, alongside promoting veganism.
I'm still in the early stages of getting this rolling, but the core is there. I just need to work on fixing up the fancy bits and my inability to multitask.
The first official stream will be this Wednesday night.
If you'd like to follow me, it'd be most appreciated. Thanks for reading, and hope to see you there! @carlile81@www.youtube.com
Not abandoning Mastodon, but I did start a bsky account. Feel free to follow there - https://bsky.app/profile/scarlile.bsky.social.
I'll be doing my best to crosspost when applicable but the 300 character limit they have is crazy and something that will take getting used to coming from this veganism.social instance with a 10,000 char limit - even though I've never gotten close to reaching that in any post... ever.. in my life.
Finished the latest chapter of Dune Awakening. A bit disappointed with how short it was, and now stuck waiting for Funcom to continue the story in who knows how long.
Heading into Bristol tonight with a slim 2 point lead in the standings. It's going to be tough to hold, but with some good stage points and some luck, it's doable.
Live broadcast starting at 830 PM ET on https://twitch.tv/northstarrn
DUNE AWAKENING UPDATE LET'S GOOOOO
Twitch or YouTube for streaming gameplay?
I see the pros and cons of both, and I'm struggling to make a decision.
I know there are other options, but they lack visibility.
