@dusk@todon.eu @aral@mastodon.ar.al I’ve said it before, and I will say it again, what we need in these cases is the fines to make sense, like 20% of their previous anually reported gross earnings, not future earnings because they can then cook those to pay less.

I have considered looking into how the LCD monitor might be replaced with a modern colour one while keeping everything else orginal.
It makes for a wonderful distraction free writing tool :ablobcatrainbow:

@jasongorman@mastodon.cloud I’m often astonished when I meet developers who just code during their nine to five and show zero interest outside of that; to the point where their knowledge is a decade or more out of date.
Maybe my experience is different because computing is also my hobby, which makes it fun to do both inside and outside of paid working hours but I’m easily getting double the hours in front of code than a lot of my peers.

@rafa@mastodon.design I miss the days when you could have a call with one of the people at Apple and talk them through the review process and get an answer there and then. Nowadays it feels like automation hell.
