You write C#, then learn what the corresponding C++ is.
Turns out C++ is pretty cool, so you now tend to write more C++, then learn how to abstractions correspond to C.
Turns out C is quite neat and C++ is actually quite the mess, so you prefer to write C style C++ or raw C more and more, so you learn about assembly.
Now you live in godbolt, always have the codegen pane open and got upset and the compiler enough to start writing various things directly on assembly.
So you start learning how the CPU works and how to reason about micro architecture.
Now you are kind of tempted to play arround with RTL and think about buying am FPGA.
However, while waiting for the FPGA you ordered to arrive, you remember that you probably should finally finish implementing the optimized sorting algorithm you've been working on from the start, when you only knew C#.
