there's this company that, ten years ago, i bought a thing from. specifically, a roof rack for a large van.
(we still have the van, and atop it, the roof rack. it's fine. has carried many bicycles, ladders, etc.)
a few weeks back i started getting e-mails about roof rack sales and such. if i investigate, am i going to find that this company has been acquired and is on its way to being stripped for parts by some kind of evil ownership group?
