@BasicAppleGuy The touch buttons were great for car mounts. It did take a minute to get the technique down for reliable taps. In the dark, the 3G was definitely the best.

@lefteristrip23 I think this might be a feature. If you’re on a long call and one dies, but other still has a charge, you can take out the one and change it, then swap to charge the other one. You lose stereo temporarily, but still get continuous use. The alternative is having them both die at the same time and you need to stop using them all together while charging.

@isaaclyman I’ve run into a shocking number of people online who say they prefer targeted ads. To be fair, I would find even one person shocking, but I’ve heard it from at least a dozen people. I think it’s a new form of Stockholm syndrome.

@rmondello@hachyderm.io How can I migrate to a new platform without logging into every single site with my old system to setup passkeys with the new system? Authy? 1Password? Ok… now what if I want to migrate to a new password manager?

@nicolas17@social.treehouse.systems @rmondello@hachyderm.io If everything is using a passkey, how is that initial logon done? Passkeys seem to rely on an unbroken chain of access, or require some other secondary form of auth. I also question the value of passkeys for someone already using long random passwords with a pw manager. It seems the main benefit would be forcing normal users into a password manager. If they are saved in a single browser and work by “magic” this is going to be a confusing nightmare when they hit edge cases.
