@aartaka @hipsterelectron @khinsen I don't natively speak a language that uses the Cyrillic alphabet, but I have taken a course on Ukrainian and self-studied a tiny bit of Russian some years ago, and my impression is that there isn't a lot of latin/english-centrism impacting those keyboard layouts generally, but I might be wrong. It just seems like ё is a bit left out because people consider it the same as « е, » (and have for a long time) but it is reachable on the keyboards I've used, just often on the edge. It is a bit weird coming from Swedish though, because the difference is comparable to Swedish a, å, and ä / o and ö which are very different and it would feel strange if people mixed them up outside of contexts where only ASCII is allowed, for example. I like ё though. It's a pretty letter and umlauts are cool :ablobcatheartsqueeze:

@abcdw@fosstodon.org I noticed it this weekend when reconfiguring my system and had to do a double take and check the git history so I didn't just miss that I had typed it again. This is huge for me. The mental barrier to turning off my systems rather than suspending has been lessened.

@bodil My favourite part of this site is that the installation instructions are a bash <(curl ...) command that is mostly obscured for extra good vibes.

@doqunbop@mastodon.gamedev.place Yeah, it's not a big deal right now. We aren't federating our Matrix server anyways, though we might look into it if Fluxer gets better federation than Matrix, because there are some issues that make us a little hesitant to turn it on in Matrix.

@zenmaya@social.zenmaya.xyz Okay, then it definitely sounds like Fluxer is more what we should be taking a look at. Self hosting is non-negotiable for us. I did kind of get the impression that Stoat wasn't as much meant to be self hosted as Fluxer, but I didn't want to judge it like that in case my impression was wrong.
