I have a visceral memory of dragging a little radius circle around my current location and setting it to notify me when my wife crossed into that circle. I also have a memory of it not notifying me when she did and so bring very pointless.

@reichenstein Now that I've finished reading, I think it's actually 3.3? The bit about schools, yeah? Anyway, this was very interesting. I was curious to see you talk so much about Office in schools. Our experience in Texas has been that Google seems to own the local school district. My kids use Google Docs and the associated stuff. I'd be curious to read more than a footnote about Google's role in all this. I also thought about: What of the teacher or community organizer who needs to make a flyer? Or a program for a theater production or whatever? When I write prose, I mostly prefer to write markdown in vim, but I find myself needing layout tools pretty often. I'm just not sure how to get from our world of using layout tools to write to one where we still have those tools and we only use them when we actually need some (probably shitty, definitely amateur) design. Maybe that stuff is in the other 5/6ths you wrote, though. Anyway, thanks for sharing this.

@reichenstein I think you have a typo in the summary. The final reference to section 2.2 should, I think, be 3.2.
