Today is International Rromani Day. It's a day to learn about - or at least think about - Rromani and Sinti.
Rromani have been prosecuted, oppressed, and often forgotten about when it comes to the Holocaust. (Or purposely erased)
There's STILL violence and oppression against Rromani all over the world - even in the US, it was ILLEGAL for Rromani to be in some states as late as the 1990s.
Show your local Rromani some love. Or thank us for Thatcher's death. We celebrate that, too.
Here's a post with some links about our culture if you'd like to learn!
