I'm considering buying a folding airplane. A small one, not an F-4U. Are there any beside the obvious:
- Remos GX
- Icon A5
- Aerotrek (Eurofox)
- some versions of Kitfox too
- Sonex Onex (maybe Xenos)
- Kolb
- Stemme S10/S12
None of them comes close to my Mooney in characteristics.

@WiredForFlight @heckinteagan The fatal crash of Jeremy Monnett did a number on them, I'm afraid.

@WiredForFlight@squawk.mytransponder.com Yes, I heard owners are generally pleased with Icons. They are very slow and underpowered, and fly because the wing is extremely thick. It's a dedicated slow-speed airfoil. But if that matches the mission, they are nice. Unfortunately, I have a certain control interference in them, between my thigh and the stick. Not as bad as in Sonex, but it's a bit of a problem.

@doboprobodyne@mathstodon.xyz Noted. Actually, Sonerai was in contention back when I looked at Sonex some 12 years ago. But I forgot it had folding wings.

Waco shuts down. Sad.
Now I'm getting concerned for ACA (Champ).

@deprecated_ii@poa.st Reminds me how I was on vacation in Hawaii, took a ride with a local instructor, and asked him what I can do to improve. He said, "stop hopping airplane types. Choose one and learn to fly it well."
