How does Zelda: Breath of the Wild still feel like a modern game almost ten years later? Clocked over 340 hours playing tandem with my wife who was in it long before I got into it. She does all the explorations, strategies, and farming resources, leaving it to me to deal with fighting all the monsters and completing the divine beasts 🤣🤣

Malaysian radio station FlyFM gifted batik to British girl group Flo and told them they’re Malaysian batik. They’re actually Indonesian ones, with distinct Megamendung and Parang patterns. Some Malaysians are upset and angry especially because it happened on Malaysia’s Independence Day. Indonesians are amused and irritated at yet another Indonesian heritage being claimed as Malaysian.
Someone from the station apologized saying the shopkeeper they bought the batik from told her they’re local batik. This angered even more people at the cultural ignorance of both the shopkeeper and the station staff.
Just another day in the everlasting Indo vs Malay culture war.
342 hours later I have way more than enough skills, resources, and weapons to go fight Ganon but still putting it off. Not sure I wanna fight him when I’m still struggling with Lynels.
Used to summon Wolflink to deal with random enemies but haven’t called on him in a while now and major tests of strength are just waiting for guardians to get electrocuted since learning how to deal with them efficiently. Guardians in general aren’t scary anymore and those spider ones, you can just cut their legs off.
Still more than 800 korok seeds to find, one more shrine to unlock, and a few royal items to recover.
I’ve not really played a Zelda game since the original Legend of Zelda on the NES and this is probably the most fun I’ve had on a console since GTA IV and Gran Tourismo.
Singapore is becoming too expensive to do business. After H&M moved its regional office to Malaysia, Singapore’s biggest bread maker moves production to Malaysia but keeps other functions in the country for now. Yeo’s and Tiger Beer are also moving production to Malaysia

I lost my dad in August last year from prolonged impact of three strokes in seven years and deteriorating health. For a long time mom was his primary carer and I think her body is exhausted after years of extra work.
In the last few weeks she had started to slow down and we had her see a doctor who suspected it might be GERD or a heart problem. The doc said to check into ER if it happens again within a week. That was two days ago.
Last night we had to get mom to ER after more chest pains and general soreness around her upper body. Turns out she had a heart attack. The NSTEMI kind, which doesn’t really look like a heart attack because the heart is still receiving oxygen but in a reduced amount. Regardless it still caused a partially blocked artery which needs to be taken care of.
Hospital network shows no available ICU bed across the entire city except for one hospital that’s quite far and we’re still waiting for confirmation from them. She has coverage but we don’t know if it will take care of everything. It’s 4am I haven’t slept a wink.
You’re telling me Trump went to China with an entourage of billionaire tech CEOs and came away with pretty much nothing?
Heck of a negotiator he is. Fart of the deal!
Daughter is out on Val’s Day date and her boyfriend is driving.
I’m at the dad stage where his daughter’s boyfriend starts driving her on dates. As a dad I have to fight the urge to tail them.
If you want to see real life Avatar movie, the military vs indigenous population Avatar, not the four elements one, here’s a must watch documentary that’s being actively silenced or prevented from screenings by the Indonesian military

Just like how Magic made its way to Indonesia through coffee drinkers, Tiger Bomb and Mont Blanc coffee made their ways to the archipelago in a similar fashion, without recipe leaks or breach of confidentiality. People just reverse engineered the coffee and figured it out themselves.
Under Indonesian law, duplication through discovery makes it next to impossible to seek for damages or redress because there doesn’t appear to have been any violation of trade secret.
Copyright law was designed to solve an economic problem reasonably well. What it was never designed to do is protect the dignity of a character, the integrity of a creative vision, or the relationship between a work and the audience that grew up loving it.
Typical Indonesia erasure in western media except for political upheaval stories. The country implemented social media restrictions for under 16s in March, including Roblox and TikTok https://www.cnbc.com/2026/04/08/teen-social-media-ban-countries-tech-experts-warning.html
The President initially wanted a Chinese style oppressive, restrictive internet regime for all, to suppress any dissent but was told it was impossible and he begrudgingly accepted this restriction after blowing up in a private meeting

Rona Kachta shrine is pretty easy to reach albeit anxiety inducing a little bit. The fun part is taking out all of the guardians one by one after you compete the shrine 🤣🤣

Did you know the Japanese aren’t big fans of the start of the working week? Because every もんだい is a problem.
Who will be the Jamie Lannister that we need right now?
Automattic is apparently repeating OpenAI 2023. So Mullenweg was fired by the Automattic board who then installed Mark Davies, the CFO, as the new CEO, but now somehow Mullenweg is back and Davies is out and nobody knows what’s gonna happen next 🤣🤣🤣🤣
No emergency podcasts for this though!
