Type-X is back! This Google Chrome extension makes it easy and efficient to test local fonts on any website.
This was originally published about 5 years ago, but stopped working due to browser evolution. But recently, @googlefonts@typo.social generously had @simoncozens@typo.social get things working again (better than ever), and then me and @pixelambacht@typo.social pitched in to do some final UX polish.
I’ll be releasing a new version of Kyrios on Tuesday. I had fun making this little teaser loop in Blender, after taking a recent class from @robstenson@typo.social
Oooh Adobe has (finally) started introducing variable fonts to After Effects! This will be fun to explore further.
