So: Italy will be applying positive evolutionary pressure for really horrible websites to evolve to survive without CDNs.
Who ever thought there might be unintended consequences?

This is fair enough but leaves me either compiling everything from scratch under homebrew, including dependency hell, or alternately installing the handful of packages that I actually need, piecemeal

After 15+ years of solid use I'm finally giving up on #Homebrew on MacOS; it was once the first thing I installed on any new Mac but now it's hindering me running older-but-still-capable machines. The surprising thing so far has been how little I'm missing it.
