In trying to reward behavior we want to see, this client of mine, after being presented with all the issues with modern LLMs and why it should NOT be used to make game art, did a total 180 and threw all of the AI plans into the sea, then paid a real live artist to do the box art and illustrative work. Would appreciate any retoots and such. If you're into party board games, maybe even consider backing it?

When a book about magical beings and magical muses inspires you, you just go along for the ride
Thank you @xiane@wandering.shop for your wonderful book, A Third Kind of Madness!
It is yet again another month for your reminder: time to back up your stuff! Website, art, writing... Back it all up! 💾💿💻 Repost to remind your friends to make backups too!
Happy #MerMay! I just remembered I still have these stickers, and 2 versions of them no less (just added the fully transparent). They're 5" dark art mer-siren eel-person stickers you can put on anything you wanna collect a diaphonized eel person in. https://shop.aimeecozza.com/product/diaphonized-siren-5-transparent-sticker/
They're also small and flat enough I can charge just for a stamp for em alone so the shipping is p cheap :D
So folks, I worked with a client on a boardgame that swore to me they saw the error of their ways in using AI stuff to get things done and hired a human being and everything. I talked about this before.
I am sorry to tell you that if you backed their campaign you will be getting some AI slop.
Come away, O human child!
To the waters and the wild
With a faery, hand in hand,
For the world's more full of weeping than you can understand.
- W. B. Yeats, "The Stolen Child"
Thanks person who asked to have the header row frozen on HireHumanArtists.com you are correct, that does make a difference! ❤️

Looking for beta readers for the next Machines title.
Caveat: can't have read either of the 2 previous. I'm testing how it does as a standalone
Length is 54k words, cozy scifi w/lgbtqia+ chars & deals with death & grief
Reposting to public

Shhh 🤫it's not the 5th anymore cuz I forgot, but it's always good to have a monthly reminder to review the things you have consumed, especially if you're consuming a lot of indies. We NEED those reviews!
Hey peeps if you grabbed my free books a few weeks ago and read them I'd totally appreciate some reviews, even if you only leave a star rating. ⭐ My next big goal is 100 reviews on Amazon which is when it'll start being suggested to others 🤖
