a coursemate was crocheting a small stuffed animal which to me looked like a rodent. it was shaped like °o~ (small head, round body, tail). so I asked her if it was a mouse

it was supposed to be a tiny dragon :D but the wings weren’t on yet

There are lots of signs with the words “smoke-free station” or “Thank you for not smoking” on them around but most people seem to ignore them. I’d admonish them about that fact but they would probably just roll their eyes or worse - to reference something that appeared in national news -, bite my ear off. Unfortunately I don’t look terrifying enough to be taken seriously :wolf_gun:

Had a funny visual glitch recently during an online lecture (we use MS Teams) where the entirety of the window decided to output itself in one of my coursemates’ camera boxes

So I had a mostly black UI where everyone’s faces were supposed to be except for that tiny cam window where someone was screen-sharing a presentation… I hope my squinting wasn’t that obvious :brdLol:

you hop off the shower.
you want to prep your overnight oats.
you realize that you could be brewing an Herbal Infusion while you are making your overnight oats.
you look for the mug you used earlier.
you go back to the kitchen to turn the kettle on.
you return to the living room to hunt for the mug. the mug is not there.
the water hasn’t finished boiling yet, so you proceed with the oats.
in the middle of making oats, the kettle beeps.
you pour hot water in a new mug.
you finish prepping, but your drink is still steeping…
you write a post to pass the time.
bzzt bzzt your timer rings.

Hmph… She’s so naive. This is why I say she’s just a collection of single-celled organisms.
