mastodon 4.8.0-alpha.3+glitchI like to get in over my head and post nonsense.
Retired, spent my time looking for something to do so I became a hypnotist.
Previously an artist, writer, goldsmith, and pump tech.
Have COPD and addicted to cannabis.
I like pets, they make better people than people. People are animals.
I used to be smart now I'm an introvert.
Struggling to stay sane while cherishing my insanity.
US seizes Iran oil tanker. Price surges. We the voters can no longer rely on oil as our main source of energy. All efforts should be made to phase it out and end all this insanity.
Fuck the calvary, saved by the First Nations.
https://albertapolitics.ca/2026/03/coalition-of-first-nations-and-farmers-demands-environmental-assessment-of-oilsands-carbon-capture-scheme/I see CBC has joined in on the propaganda. A new show, Prisoner 95🔹🔹1 is about a defenceless Iranian woman married to a white English man is kidnapped by the Iranian government. In light of the current attack on Iran, who exactly are the bad people here. POC or Whites?
https://gem.cbc.ca/prisoner-951I was following a conversation here and one of the comments was Linux is a OS affordable to people who are finding Win and Mac beyond their means. Can''t remember who's. The massive costs AI is placing on memory, is increasing the costs of computers, making them more unattainable for tighter budgets. Distro hopping has taught me a Linux system can fit on a 60g USB drive. Both ideas lead me to speculate on a new type of computer set up. What if we got rid of a computer in a box and made a platform for monitors, keyboard, mouse, network, and USB ports. Besides a minimal memory to operate the box, the OS is on the USB. You could take your USB computer with you and plug in to any one of these platforms. I imagine this has many advantages ans disadvantages, but it's permanent, more comfortable to 'work', and you wouldn't have to be squinting using your phone.
What's this? On live feeds I picked 'other servers' and noticed a lot of the toots are for news, charities, educational, businesses. Under 'all', almost all the toots are news, educational, business. One of the reasons I like Mastodon is the lack of in your face adverts. If these toots are becoming more common place then we'll start seeing ads for aardvark spas, nukes, to xylophone tuners imo. Capitalists are insidious.
How many lives did he ruin, how many children did he eat to get a gut like that?
https://thetyee.ca/News/2026/04/21/Dishonest-Online-Campaign-Support-Alberta-Separatism/In the war of the classes, when the oligarchs decree you can't use free stuff, the peasants don't just sit there.
https://github.com/woheller69/FreeDroidWarn?tab=readme-ov-file#solutionsI've read some of the earlier articles of the original site in Gobekli Tepi. Now they think the standing structures represent giant penises eh, well what else are you going to do without tv and fire has only one station. The early Central and South American tribes had stories of a great flood/s. They didn't have tv either and passed the time lopping heads off.
For a government website saying it's stilted is an understatement.
