mastodon 4.7.2It was late summer 2014 and our illustrious Captain had a thought – wouldn’t it be fun to to go Vegas, and drink, and see shows, and *also* play hockey?

Header #AltText - a bunch of sweaty tired people who have, or had, lived as women in black and white jerseys smiling and cheering on the walkway around a hockey rink. There is also a child and a dog.
Profile #AltText - a black and white graphic of a Star Wars Stormtrooper with hockey sticks and the Death Star behind.
The final went to the Yoda Babes with a last minute goal to break the tie with the Biscuit Bandits.
Another fabulous Las Vegas Women's Hockey Classic, and the 29th Annual to boot! We'll be back!
Knocked out by the Yoda Babes in an epic battle between good and evil! The rink operator even played Star Wars theme songs throughout. It was fabulous.
We're torn on who to cheer for in the final, so let's hear it for a great game!
The Stormtroopers have descended on Vegas!

Thank you so much for this! It was a matter of ~2 minutes to get my feed showing on my homesite 😄
Trying to pull people off the book of faces, and not a small number of those people are part of the Stormtroopers women's tournament hockey team, so I made us a profile :-)
Well clearly I'm voting Mammoth :-P
In 10 short days the Stormtroopers will take Las Vegas!
Well, we'll play there for sure 😁 at the 29th Annual Las Vegas Women's Hockey Classic
January 30 - February 2, 2025.
Anyone local wanna come join our cheer squad! We have a logo for them too!
