@amcooper@toot.cat I grew up in NE Philly, and I only remember calling it "sidewalk grass" as opposed to the lawn. I'm still in Philly, but have been in South Philly for decades, and that strip doesn't really exist on the sidewalks around here.
ICE is out in South Philly. Spotted out around 7th and Wolf right now.
Update: A couple vans by 7th & Porter too.

@ZenHeathen@beige.party For things like signatures, it would be easier to tell a copy from a signature. I know attorneys who still only use blue to sign things.
Not sure if it's related to what you mean, but there's a "non-photo" shade of blue that wouldn't really pick up on scanners. Artists could pencil sketch in the blue, then ink in black without the pencil really showing up in scans. I wonder if scantron works the same way. D&D maps used to use it as an anti-piracy thing too.

@diynotdie@gardenstate.social You did send it! It's both coming up as a separate thread and linked to the original? I'm counting that as a weird Fediverse glitch, but we do have the link. Mel and I are heavily debating because we have game cons the previous 2 weekends. It might be an attend but not vend weekend for us. It's right up our alley.
It's my Dad's 70th birthday today woooo
