I swear I didn’t intend to continue the Kiki’s Delivery Service theme from yesterday I’ve been wanting a corn broom for a while and saw they had them on sale at my local hardware store. The store is pet friendly, so it was a great excuse to give Keisha some more experience going into new places. Today my faithful companion, Keisha, and I rode over to SṈIDȻEȽ (pronounced sngeet kwith), to walk the Tod Inlet trail. We had a restorative walk through the forest and along the beach. I kept stopping to take photos of all the many flowers, Keisha kept stopping to take in the scents. We found a couple of places to sit and just take it all in. I’m grateful to those who are working to restore this beautiful place.1 (#fn:1)

I just realized that yesterday marked the one year anniversary with my Brompton, Lady Amalthea. 💜 According to the app, we’ve travelled 516 km together! Such a fun, and handy, little bike.

She wouldn’t eat if I put it on her food, so I ended up making it into a paste and using a syringe to give it to her. https://www.advancedgi.ca/ Hope you can find the right solution for your pup. I remember how stressful it was before we found a system that worked.

@johnefrancis@cosocial.ca We got into a cycle like this for a while with our old girl and eventually found that giving a GI powder/paste (I’ll see if I can find the brand because another brand didn’t work as well) + cranberry pills helped keep the UTIs at bay which in turn meant the antibiotics were no longer wreaking havoc on her digestive system.
