It was a certain Sergeant's birthday today. HAPPY BIRTHDAY son! Currently in-the-field at a remote Army base. You've come a long way in life. We're immensely proud.

From a musical family: some are Country, some are Rock. I am Rock.
I'm not convinced that we are going to avoid Apocalypse. I'll do my small part to try to make the world a better place for my grandchildren.

This princess has stopped eating. She has always had a good appetite. We've tried various foods. She nibbles a little, but we're quite concerned. Will keep you informed. #caturday #CatsOfMastodon #cats

I just recently celebrated three-quarters of a century living upon this Earth. They weren't all great years, but, yeah, 75 years. Crazy to think about the world I was born into and the world as it is now. Anyway ... yay me. #life #senior #celebrate #birthday

@BlueDot@left-bank.net We went to the pet sore and explained the situation and the clerk handed us the exact product that you suggested! We mix it in with Nutmeg's regular food and she is eating a little. Thanks for that.

@Neblib We bought a WORX battery-elelctric lawnmower a few years ago now. It has never let us down.

There's something ancient about humans gathering around a fire. Dogs too!

Welp, that's enough doomscrolling for today. I'll check in occassionally to see if there are any more disasters happening today. Take care, all. Tomorrow is a new day.

@chad I donated a week or two ago. All I can do for now is boost this. Hope it helps. I want mstdn.ca to survive!

I have to go to the grocery store. I hate going to the grocery store, but I have to go. Life is like that.
Meanwhile, here is a fun, happy, uplifting tune performed by my little brothers' former band. Enjoy
This is going to be interesting for our family, what with our oldest son being an almost Sergeant-Major/Warrant Officer (one course to go - which of course was postponed - such is life in the Army). #Canada #ArmedForces #Army

This is hard to believe. A rogue wave big enough to sink a sailboat on the Salish Sea? Crazy stuff. #VancouverIsland #SalishSea #sailboat #Canadahttps://youtu.be/d31TYAM9XCM?si=Z3Hxibr3eSNkunp_
There's going to be bloodshed in this #England vs #Argentina match before this is all over.

Well, she is off to the Vet again this morning for surgery. Minor surgery, but they will knock her out. My heart goes out to Nutmeg. Wish her well. #cats #CatsOfMastodon
If this isn't played at my funeral, I won't be attending.
Y'all will have to celebrate without me.
