The “Worthless Stones” of Zincirli: Osman Hamdi Bey and the German Excavations of 1888–1902
Great article by @OğuzSatır and @aliÇifçi (2024) on the correspondence between German archaeologists and the #Ottoman State at Zincirli (#Türkiye).
