6 words I've never thought I'd see strung together in a sentence: Windows Notepad Remote Code Execution Vulnerability.

This whole Discord account hijacking thing spreads in such a predictable viral pattern with predictable actions and consequences, I'm not sure why Discord doesn't have a procedure to flag these sort of patterns in their system.
I mean the metadata is right there. You don't even have to read message contents.

@SigmaOne@toot.party ignored AMD's voltage recommendations to stand out from the competition and ended up overheating CPUs and *physically wrapping them*.

@CaffeineSam@mstdn.party oh that's just the next stage. The current stage is:
Sci-Fi: maybe someday in the future technology will automate our jobs so we can work less and enjoy life more.
Reality: Now that your boring job can be automated you can be twice as productive and work twice as long for even more productivity.

@internetarchive@mastodon.archive.org every time I land on an old website with hard to find information / obscure software / drivers I make sure it's archived.
Learned my lesson from painful experience.

@nm@veganism.social I think I've found a bug - for some reason your list shows all Firefish instances as federating with Threads even tho I know for certain that some of the listed instances have been per-empatively blocking Threads for a long time now. :blobcatthink:
