It's Mother's Day over here. I tell my kids not to buy anything because I don't like the commerce. My youngest tries to come up with something original though. Today he gave me an #origami #FountainPen 🥰🎯✒️ Look it has a stub nib and is capped! 😂

We went to a museum today and I tried to sketch a bit. The wash-colouring and stamps were added at home. day 63/100 #The100DayProject #100DayProject #FountainPen #WaterColour #Sketchbook #Hobonichi #InkyParker51
I've cycled to the nearest IKEA before, but I don't know the route so we'll, so just follow whatever is recommended. Today it was such a lovely route with much more fields instead of mostly suburbia. I've written it out, so I can take it again next time. Day 57/100 #The100DayProject #100DayProject #FountainPen #WaterColour #Sketchbook #Hobonichi #InkyParker51 #MixedMedia
I'm not very good in getting plants from seed. So today went out to get some tomato plants. I tried several years in our back garden because DH doesn't like a vegetable garden in our front garden. But our front garden gets better sun. Still not ideal because too many trees, but worth a try. So this year I got the get go and looking forward to trying it with somewhat better circumstances. I hope it gets enough sun 🍀🤞🏼 Day 64/100 #The100DayProject #FountainPen #Sketchbook #InkyParker51
I went on Vinted to sell a few items, which did happen successfully, but then I also found lots is fabric is being sold. So I can't help myself and bought a few fabrics 🙈. I have a skirt in mind, nothing at all like this sketch, but this was the prettiest paper I had lying around 😁. To be continued. I think I have a lot of these tractor stamps because the Korean newspaper distribution for Europe was sent from Germany. A vase with flowers today. Day 51/100 #The100DayProject #100DayProject #FountainPen #WaterColour #Sketchbook #Hobonichi #InkyParker51 #LordCactusNib #MixedMedia
I saw two butterflies today. First of the season!

I hadn't posted my finished monthlies yet. 100 #FountainPen #Hobonichi #InkyParker51 #InkSwatches
Some white flowers have popped up in the grass strip in front of our house. My husband jokingly said it's Edwlweiss, which doesn't grow here in the wild, but they are little pretty white flowers. In my sketches I'm not bound by reality and since I had this piece of selvedge, I decided to use that as a sort of base for the colours. I love selvedges, the actual ones on fabric but also the word is pretty to write/pronounce.Day 69/100 #The100DayProject #FountainPen #WaterColour #InkyParker51
Somebody I know got invited to the opening of the Isaac Israels exhibition in the Kröller-Müller museum and asked me to tag along. Very nice artist and he was a great plein air #UrbanSketching guy and travelled throughout Europe also during WWI.
The museum itself is on my top 3 of favorite museum in the Netherlands. They have the best Van Gogh collection imo, better than what the Van Gogh museum has in Amsterdam. #art #ArtOfMastodon #IsaacIsraels

@NorcalGma2@sfba.social @j258853@toot.community My comment was directed to JJ. My app automatically puts everybody else in there too. Don't get me wrong, it's fine to block those requests, genuine or not. But to call everybody asking for help terrible, really rubs me the wrong way. His comment was the first I saw. I was abhorred that so many other commenters had the same sentiment.

@j258853@toot.community @NorcalGma2@sfba.social There are genuine people from Gaza trying to survive. Not everybody asking for help is terrible, some are put under terrible conditions making them beg. The PMs I've gotten from people asking for money are all from Gaza. There is a possibility some of them are fake, but the genuine ones are not terrible people. They often engage after a post of them is liked or boosted. They don't always catch the individual circumstances of somebody having an ill husband.

@JulesJones Yes! But at least the new shiny things will provide me with fun projects to do 😁
Somehow two weeks or so ago I changed the 585th drawing into 485. So nearing 500 it suddenly dawned on me I had been there already. Turns out today is my 600th sketch in a row 🥳
Sometimes though it's a quick sketch like today 😅.
I've bought too many pretty fabrics on Vinted and now I'm making skirts I don't really need, but this particular one will be nice to wear at a concert. IRL the notes stay on the skirt 😅😂 Day 70/100 #The100DayProject #FountainPen #InkyParker51

@clare_hooley@mastodon.me.uk I know you wouldn't have done this if there was a risk 😅. I just realised normally I'll think, "nice picture", but I can tell I'm a bit fazed by (recent) developments. My parents were in a huge bush fire last year and one of the fires here were actually not that far. 🤗

@clare_hooley@mastodon.me.uk Happy Beltane! With the drought here + several bushfires in this small country, it makes me slightly uncomfortable to look at this open flame 😅

@schnagi 😂 😂 😂 I'm actaully getting quite good in just going in for what I needed, or I should say getting out with only what I went in for 😂 💪🏻

@fraying@xoxo.zone Those are exactly the colours I used to have with my chickens. Seeing yours makes me miss them 🥲. Unfortunately I'm not local. But I hope you find the right people!

@ellane @penfount I don't think there are many young people here on mastodon, so don't know if you'd get many answers from the correct group. I'm Gen X and can read yours alright but have trouble reading most Edwardian/Spencerian script. I assume that's how modern cursive looks to the younger generation, so I don't find it that hard to believe when I hear it so often.

@toga@penfount.social Very nice! Except for the 1911L and KOP I find the Sailor models too small, so this looks very promising. I'm on a no buy till August though 😅 😂

@schnagi Yes! 🥳
P.S. thanks for looking up what I've been doing last few days. You missed the autoalt one though. I thought that one especially you'd like to see 😅
