Smells like the Canada Proud tactics used in the hate campaign against Trudeau last election.

When I was a kid women and girls were fighting the patriarchy to be "allowed" to wear pants. They wanted equality and didn't want others telling them how to dress. When I was a teen, punkers also rebelled against the patriarchy dress code.

Now some of these same women are fighting trans women and telling them how they must dress.
