Kenaz - Heart Fire. Another of Naomi Cornock's new card designs :)
From Naomi's description: "Kenaz has more than one meaning depending who you talk to and I believe both versions to be valid, for [this painting I] have chosen the fire rune meaning of Kenaz.
To me this rune represents Home and Hearth, transformation, illumination, Inspiration, passion and heart fire, inner hearth fire, the fire you carry with you."

Heron - Soul Carrier. The last of Naomi Cornock's new card designs :)
From Naomi's description: "Herons are symbolic of balance and stability, self-reliance, tact, wisdom, and knowledge.
In some Celtic traditions these birds are seen to be the reincarnation of Rhiannon, the Welsh goddess.
In Greek traditions it was also believed that after a person died, herons were the ones that carried their souls to Heaven, in other cultures they brought new or reborn souls to earth.
In Egyptian culture the Heron represented renewal and regeneration, guiding souls to the path to rebirth."

We had a very healthy looking fox exploring, in great detail, the wildlife/food forest end of our garden this morning. We know foxes visit at night because we’ve captured them on our trail cam and can hear them calling to each other, but this is the first time we’ve seen one in the daytime.
Didn’t get a photo because I was too busy watching (with a huge smile on my face!), so I’ll share some art instead: this is ‘I have so much of you in my heart’ by Sam Cannon.
One of Naomi Cornock's new metal tins. This is 'Healing Spirits - A Sacred Journey' :)

A new card for Imbolc by Glastonbury-based artist Debbie deMornay Penny, which will almost certainly bring a smile to your face if you've spent any amount of time in Glastonbury (the town, not the festival!) :)

Introducing four fabulous cards from new-to-us artist 'Art by Doz': one for Valentine's Day (now LESS THAN TWO WEEKS AWAY!), one for anniversaries, and two guaranteed to raise a smile :)
We’ve sold quite a few of these already; I guess people are looking for something bright and cheerful to counteract the rubbish weather. (The clouds appear to be at ground level here this morning!)
