Last few days to contribute to the social capital of #SailCoop, a really cool #CoOp based in #France that offers sailboat trips (Brittany, Corsica, #Baltimore!) ⛵
It was lovely to watch (online) the sunrise at Newgrange after visiting the site this year (June 2025).
Time to wake up the plants on the balcony, prune the roses and deal with the grass.
My current research project focuses on seasons in various sectors. In some, the four seasons still define the rhythm, while in others there are only two seasons (winter/summer). And then there are discussions among friends, like yesterday, where we talked about the 'fake spring' (8 March) and dreaded the June heatwaves. #ClimateDiary

@mattdawhit@mastodon.iow.social Oh, that's cool. We had planned to go to London in November, but Eurostar cancelled our trip. This time, we visited a few record shops for my brother, who is a vinyl collector. And we stopped by the National Gallery. It was nice. I hope to return with more time (we did a day trip).

@HelenLockhart@mastodon.scot In this case, the designer of the (knitted) slippers had a fairly similar (crochet) pattern removed from Etsy. I bought the (knitted) pattern before I knew about this. The exchanges were rather awkward, and although I want to give credit where credit is due, in this case, it's a dilemma. (I also know that Etsy is a difficult platform for creators, which is another issue.)
