I went for my Sunday walk, a short one as it was still a kind of warm.

1. Ow my... I can't believe it... they are not fitting one more house in there... are they? 😮
2. & 3. It seems they are 😲 4.I wonder if what's left of the small green area will survive. The bench along the walkway is still there but the walkway has disappeared behind the construction fence. I don't understand why they pile up the houses this way. 🫨 😮

I don't know the what kind of tree that is but I love the flowers. 😀

I couldn't resist to go for a relatively short stroll this afternoon.
There was a little bit of rain at times but not that much
1. Low (natural) light
2. At the top the hill the next town and further ahead the taller buildings of civilisation
3. Walking back down
4. What?!?! Why on earth they painted that all black? The employees will probably melt in there during Summer. 😲

Looking at the forecast.
It seems Summer will arrive on the 20th.
Not sure how long it will stay but at least 4 days.
Note: Lots of fuss about the super El Niño that it's expected to arrive in June. I think authorities are worried about the fire season.

The birds are singing outside.

1. Last night at sunset some of the clouds had some light pink orange effects.

I love Spring. 😀
I just walked down to Lidl.
A few minutes of sun, then there is shade created by clouds.
Then it comes a short rain shower, a couple of minutes later it's back to sun.
It continues like that all the way down and back.
A lovely proper Spring unlike last month.

After all that coughing yesterday and the day before I was in need of one.

I overslept for 2.5h.
How embarrassing 😊 😊
At least I still had time for a quick cleaning of the back balcony. 😀

I just went to the balcony
I confirm.
It feels like 9ºC out there. 🥶
And I was wearing a sweater.

This morning was busy.
But my balcony is ready for the dog days of Summer. 😀
Well, at least as ready as it can be.
And I had my 2 walks, short version, one early in the morning and one in the afternoon.😀

An eventful morning walk cut short. 😀
1. Lots of activity up there.
(I don't really know the objective but a hole was created in the sidewalk)
2. Trying to help with some work being done
(He got out there safely, tried to climb up again and ended up being told to go inside.)
3. Start thinking of turning back
(I got to the market as the rain reached me)
4. Styrofoam in the wild in Spring

3. More cranes. They seem to be every where. 🙄
Ow, I recognise this, it's some more of the accessible house thing.

The rain is gone.
The semi-strong wind is still around.

Checked forecast:
The rain comes back this afternoon.

Mosquito season must be around the corner.
Citronella products were at the entrance of the supermarket.

tuna sandwich
followed by feet up.

1. & 2. Waiting for washing cycle to be over. 🎃 & 🍎
3. Waiting for the 2 drying cycles to be over
and the 'Espiga Day bouquet', sprigs of various grains, flowers and olive branches are picked up or bought in a flower shop shop like I did.

I went down into town to get something.
I had a lovely surprise:

And they are Bio snails.
I'm not into it but I have to admit they are pleasing the locals.

7:30 am The good thing of heatwaves in September is that the sunrise is much later than in July or August and one can at least get the daily walk in morning. 😀

3. Espresso under the trees. It's one of 2 locations that are cooler even during heat waves.
