Lora
Knitting hag, garden dilitante, Trans ally, indentured servant to Mizzy BunnyButt, the DoodleFace, & Saga T. Monster. Wildlife stan. Appalachian in Scotland. PS: I love my food, but cannot cook.
Header = Mizzy BunnyButt, a calico cat with no tail, stretched out on a printed red duvet, white belly showing.
Avatar = Saga, a German shepherd, at 4 months, sitting next to Mlle DoodleFace, a black labradoodle, backs to camera in front of a dog gate, looking through open front door.
Go do my bidding, human.
The appletinis hang like grapes.
It's supposed to be dry tomorrow, but today it is not.
Lifted the blood grass cuz it wasn't doing well. Stuck it in a pot and put it in a sunnier area. Starting to get some nice colour.
I love my angelica!
Another week of rain. We did get a crop of strawberries but the loganberries are ruined for the most part. Still new berry babies, but if this rain keeps up, they'll go the way of their sibs.
The pumpkins, however, are very happy.
Dahlis season.
My plan for the weekend.
Mlle DoodleFace was so sick in March, we thought we would lose her. I wasn't ready to let her go - I won't ever be ready, tbh - so asked her to hang on until her 12th birthday. She not only hung on, but recovered & is back on the job. (She's a professional criminal.)
Her birthday photo from 2022 on the left and then today's photo on the right. Still crazy after all these years.
Happy 12th birthday, Mlle DF! Let's keep this madness going.
Did you just take a picture of my butt?????
I did, I did. The world wanted to know why you're called Mizzy BunnyButt.
Rain covered lily of the valley.
Mizzy BunnyButt sitting like Drunk Aunt Mitzie and making biscuits.
It's Friday and there are allium.
Allium half open.
On the left, honey garlic with Saga in the background. Fox tail lily on the right.
The dogs let us sleep in today. Unfortunately, the cat did not.
Long live dogs.
Seen at my breakfast table, but not my brekky.
Lost at yarn chicken. The pattern called for the exact amount in the skein. I knew better, but wanted a walk on the wild side.
This is the first pattern I've done that knits beads into it. I quite like how it looks.
