Muslim immigrant Walmart employees started harassing an American shopper who was simply recording her own shopping trip.
And now you know the real reason Walmart stopped carrying guns in their stores.

I paid right up until Tuba gave away our money so he could make a speech wearing a suit, sunglasses, and a baseball cap
I was signed up to be one of the original investors (I forget the minimum amount now, $200?). Then Torba had his melt down with Vox and I pulled the money. I dodged a bullet on that one.
The America Fisters fiasco sealed the deal. I've never paid him a dime and I never will. If he got a competent manager in and they put in place a reasonable fee structure I'd think about it.

Note the caveat though: "This list explicitly excludes any services that are not legitimate (eg reverse engineers an existing chatbot)."
I assume this is the reason they don't list Ollama, though it's not really clear. And of course Anathema is completely outside their wheelhouse.
Honestly I didn’t personally realize this was a Vox Day reference,
It wasn't intended as such. It just happens to be one of his comics.
I did this yrs ago. The blood sucking brokers took 3%.
This is why I recommend low cost index funds and etfs. VTI and SCHB both have a 0.03% expense ratio.
You're going to have to eat some bland food every once in a while, sorry
No, I'm not. I even have a cookbook.
But they could just, I don't know, back off. Go quiet for a while.
If they could do that, they wouldn't be jews.
Even some of their own have tried to warn them, but to no avail.
He's like 60 now. And so is his wife. LMAO.
The alternative is dying. Most people prefer to avoid that.
Right now the AI balloon is keeping the irrational exuberance afloat…
If this reminds you of the lead up to the dot com crash, you're absolutely right.
Yeah, but Vox's advice to Torba and the site's downhill trajectory since he got back on board has been astounding, truly.
Vox doesn't think the advertiser support model is workable. Facebook and Twitter demonstrate that he's wrong, but at the price of almost complete loss of privacy.
A happy medium should be possible at reduced profitability, but Torba's not remotely capable of threading that needle.
And?
Nothing at all. If that's what you wanted, mission accomplished.
Successful gamblers know when it's time to collect what you have and go home.
It's not safe for them to "go home". 😈

Anyone at all? No? OK, carry on then.

And for anyone wondering, I was up over $30K today. As I said, this is normal.

You only two options then. You'll have to install Slackware or Gentoo. 😜
Everything went well
Ah, good. The prayer I posted is now useful.
I'm making a completely different point.
One that had nothing to do with either the original post or the point I was making.
and immediately called Netanyahu to report mission accomplished.
Netanyahu's office. Netanyahu himself isn't talking calls for some strange reason.
I can't say anything. It's amazing how much shutting up I have to do lately

LOL. No. Vote third party or Write in Putsch.
I see June 19th as nothing more then my and EscapeVelocity's Birthdays.
Oh, come now. It's not like nothing important ever happened on 6/19:
Well, I'm trying to get people interested in stocks. And the reason for that is very simple. Over long periods of time stocks outperform every other investment available to your average person.
That's why I post the daily stock market gyrations and how I performed relative to the major indexes, why I post the dividend champions list, and why I chime in on investing discussions.
Now, while I personally do invest in individual stocks that hasn't been the main focus of my investing and isn't what I recommend for the average person. The simple fact is that the vast majority of people who trade individual stocks don't beat a simple S&P 500 index fund in total return. Are you one of the few who can? Perhaps, but the odds aren't in your favor.
What I recommend for your average investor is very simple. If you have a 401k plan at your employer put in whatever amount is required to max out their contribution. That's free money and you're never going to beat that. Simply put your money into the closest thing your plan offers to a total stock market fund and never draw any out.
Why is this my recommendation? That's simple. Over the past 100+ years the average return on the S&P 500 has been right around 10% with dividends reinvested. If we accept the government's inflation figures (no, but they're the only thing we really have) that drops to right around 7% after inflation. Nothing else available to a normal investor comes close.
A person making $50K/year with a 50% company match up to 6% (giving 9% total) being paid monthly and getting a 7% yearly return over 40 years would have $984,293.97 in his account ($2,371,587.56 using the 10% before inflation). Now, that doesn't work out exactly because stocks don't give a steady 7% or 10% return, but it's a good approximation.
This is why I do my investing posts. To get people started on this path.
Of the major ethnic groups, Whites births are down the least though all the major groups are down:

I can just imagine the looks on their "faces".
I mean that comic. It's from Vox Day.
I don't think Vox drew it, but he's the inspiration behind it, yes. But pretty much everyone here already knows that.
That's his portrayal of himself there sitting as the "dark lord". And his 60 year old or so wife in the bunny suit.
If that's what you're getting from the post, you're completely missing the point.
