@wdlindsy@toad.social@RainbowFrog@mastodon.top His ~33% support has barely wavered for years, no matter how badly he diminishes their futures. They just don’t care as long as he keeps bashing (or even murdering) the libs.
@meta_bene As my cousin, spouse and I tried to communicate in a mixture ofFrench, German, Spanish and English sie sagt: "Wir sind tutti frutti sprechen"
@dasgrueneblatt@wien.rocks@kimlockhartga@beige.party I noticed some western European towns have shrines in prominent central locations to those, including non-combatants, who were murdered by the Nazis. Many also have annual events to honor those who were lost.
They want to make sure nobody forgets.
@benroyce@stalbaum@baronvonj@suzannealdrich@Oldfartrant@courtcan 'Top Two' primaries are the worst - if 2 Rs evenly split 40%, while 6 others evenly split 60% you get 2 minority Rs going to the General. This came within a few votes of happening in WA in 2024 for Gov and another state-wide office. The Dems who squeaked thru won the general with comfortable margins.
@deviantollam@alice The Lock Source offers the following keyways for this lock. Are they all pretty much the same?
Yale (100), Kwikset (200), Schlage (300 & 306), Schlage Everest (EVER), Corbin Composite (400), Corbin L4 (410), Sargent (700), Weiser/Falcon (800), Arrow (900), Russwin D1-D4 (1000) or Schlage C-L (3000)
@digyoursoul One of my favorite features of WA elections is that our ballots just show up in our mail ~3 weeks before the election.
Other great bits:
We can mail our postage-paid ballots or drop them in one of the numerous boxes right up to poll closing.
We can download, print, vote and mail our ballots from anywhere in the world, as long as they’re postmarked by ED and received by the acceptance deadline.
Then track them online to verify acceptance.
Elections will call abt any problems.
@skinnylatte@hachyderm.io We were walking our dogs on the beach. A family of sea lions surfaced just off-shore, looking right at us and barking. Sometimes they'll accompany us on our walk. One year there were rafts of scores of them, fins locked together, for a couple days, barking their heads off. Interesting creatures.
