Uh… just one more thing. I spoke with uh… this giant fellow, in the Black Lodge… strange place by the way… lovely curtains… and uh… he told me that the owls were not what they seemed. Now, my wife, she loves owls. Can’t get enough of them. And uh… what do you suppose that means? Where were you on the night of Laura Palmer’s murder?

My favourite films so far this year…
I REALLY enjoyed Kane Parsons’ ‘Backrooms’.
Creepy, unsettling, weird, well acted, unique and very Lynchian. Amazing production design and cinematography.
It was better than I anticipated. It left me wanting more. A solid 8.5/10 from me.

The apartment scene in ‘Nirvanna the Band The Show The Movie’ is one of the best time travel sequences I’ve seen on film.
They used real footage of themselves in 2008 (+ clever use of visual effects & set design) to make it look like they are interacting with their younger selves.
The movie is really funny too.
Nothing says summer bbq season like:

- hanging out on the deck with friends

- dressing up like French mimes
- screaming at the Moon
- filling up the pool with red shoelaces
- chanting to Cthulhu
